Overview

We are looking for flatties to share their stories and participate in a photoshoot that will capture images that exemplify the profound ways they are Still.

These Stories + Images will be featured in Volume 3 of the Still Anthology. Haven’t seen the Still Anthology? Check out @projectstillme to learn more or visit our store to order a copy.

No modeling experience is necessary.

The details

Diversity + Inclusion

We are looking for breast cancer Thrivers, Survivors, Previvors who have gone flat after mastectomy (no breast mound reconstruction). We will be making selections that create a balance of:

  • Racial and ethnic diversity

  • Body type diversity

  • Age diversity

  • Unilateral and bilateral mastectomy experiences

  • Range of reasons for going flat

  • Going straight-to-flat vs. explanting

  • Range of breast cancer types and genetic predispositions (e.g., BRCA)

  • Range of scar patterns and healed appearances

  • Range of emotional experiences adjusting to life as a flattie

  • Presence and absence of mastectomy tattoos
